STAN SMITH Owner Operations Manager Stan Smith has been involved in the Oil and Gas Industry since 1984. Much of his hands-on experience and skill has evolved from a variety of jobs such as Winch Truck Operator, Bulk Cement Hauler for well cementing, and Distributor of crude oil and condensate. Stan maintained a three year supervisory position with Koch Oil, organizing and dispatching contractors and drivers. Stan is committed to the policies of Blue Ray Trucking Ltd. As an employer he knows the goals of excellence that is mandatory for long-term success. Excellence requires the commitment and personal involvement of all levels of management and employees. As an Operations Mangaer, Stan must ensure that employees and contractors are aware of their responsibilities, and continuously reinforce performance requirements and motivate empolyees and contractors to become involved in the distribution of oilfield fluid in the safest and most cost effective means possible. While on duty, all drivers are in constant communication with Stan, relaying their actions, location, and any possible job hazards. Owner Fleet Manager Monty Harlos has been in the transportation industry for 35 years. In the early years, he hauled all types of farm commodities and then began in oil and gas industry in the fall of 1990. Monty developed his expertise over the next ten years, learning the fundementals of all aspects of oilfield fluid hauling. In 2001, he had the opportunity to become a lease operator with E-Can Oilfield Services. This provided the basis for his knowledge of the value and importance of safety and preventative maintenance. Safety Development at Blue Ray Trucking Ltd is of utmost importance. Therefore, all employees and contractors are responsible and accountable for understanding and complying with all regulations, requirements and procedures relating to their job performance. Monty stresses the vitality of safety in all areas of the workplace and the companys' goal of zero incidents. He intergrates environmental, health and safety concerns into operational planning and decision making, ensuring the use of materials, natural resources and energy is efficient. Preventative maintenance is a a cost effective tool in having safe, reliable equipment on the job. Monty urges all contractors and drivers to be diligent in this aspect of BRT operation.
